About this Project
This strategically significant grid station is being developed under the CPEC framework to support reliable power supply to the Allama Iqbal Industrial City SEZ. NEPCON is responsible for erection, testing, and commissioning of both 500kV and 132kV AIS systems.
Key Highlights & Achievements:
- 500kV AIS yard with one-and-a-half breaker scheme (2 bays)
- Two single-phase 200 MVA auto-transformer banks (total 600MVA capacity of each)
- 132kV AIS yard with 14 bays and double busbar scheme
- Critical infrastructure for industrial power reliability
