About this Project
The KKI GIS Substation is a landmark project for K-Electric, marking its first-ever 500kV GIS grid station and strengthening interconnection with Pakistan’s national transmission network. NEPCON executed complete erection, testing, and commissioning works under stringent quality standards.
Key Highlights & Achievements:
- First 500kV GIS grid station for K-Electric
- Enables off-take of up to 750 MW from the national grid
- Includes 500kV GIS switchyard and 220kV systems
