About this Project
NEPCON is executing the Chief Minister Punjab Free Solar Panels Scheme, a flagship provincial initiative aimed at poverty alleviation and enhanced energy access. The project involves large-scale deployment of distributed hybrid solar systems across underserved communities in Punjab, supporting sustainable and affordable electricity solutions.
Key Highlights & Achievements:
- Deployment of 13,000 hybrid solar systems (600W & 1200W)
- Coverage of Sahiwal and Sargodha divisions
- Integrated supply, installation, and post-installation support
- Planned completion targeted for November 2025
